As the Director of Business Development for Godbe Research, Mr. Hester brings over 12 years of experience in sales, marketing, partner development, and client relationship management experience. During his six plus years at the firm, he has directed and managed all aspects of the business development and sales process from initial contact through contract negotiations. He is also responsible for Godbe Research’s marketing activities and for ensuring the firm is highly recognizable among its clients and peers.
Mr. Hester’s specific duties include proposal development, partner development and management, contract negotiations, presentations to senior officials and officers, press releases, outbound sales management, speaking opportunities, lead generation, sales forecasting, as well as advising the firm’s senior directors and principals on the sales, marketing, and business development activities.
Prior to joining Godbe Research, Mr. Hester held similar positions at several other firms and has also started as well as managed a business in Southern California. Mr. Hester received his bachelor of science degree in Economics from the University of California at Riverside and has completed graduate level course work at the University of California at Irvine.
